innoinno was founded in 1991 in Karlsruhe, Germany’s most research-intensive region and home of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From the start, inno has worked internationally in the field of assisting and partnering in processes which turn knowledge into value. inno supports municipalities, regions and nations in defining and implementing strategies to develop their economic competitiveness and innovation success. inno is dedicated to creating returns from investments in knowledge generation. inno partners with public and private institutions in stimulating and fostering the foundation and growth of knowledge-based businesses. inno has offices in Karlsruhe, Rostock, Leipzig, Berlin, Sophia Antipolis and Stockholm, and employs about 60 staff members. inno Germany – in this proposal we name the operative unit of inno AG in Karlsruhe inno Germany – will coordinate inno’s participation in the project.

Contribution to the project:

inno Germany will have first the responsibility of moderating the establishment of regional agendas and the definition of the Joint Action Plan on behalf of all clusters. In the second project phase, inno Germany will support the implementation of specific measures, according to its expertise, especially with respect to the overall trans-regional aspects of the measures. inno Germany will also coordinate the mentoring activities of the consortium and support the coordinator with the implementation of the activities.
